Hey all -

Everyday while studying I turn on my computer, put on my headphones, and go to Deadlists.com to find a butt-kicking show to listen to - then I come back here and stream it in...

Today, though - much to my chagrin, a popup keeps popping up making me add my user name and password.

HELP!!!!!!

Anyone else with the same problem?

Or else some good suggestions of a great 73 or 79 (Brent) show to jam while studying?

Either of these 2 eras will do today, but I need something amazing - what are the best shows from these eras?

Somebody help!

Let's see, well there are ratings for the shows here, so you could let those be your guide. Personally, it's only '73 if it's got Here Comes Sunshine. Lots of folks like 6/10. But 2/9, 2/15 & 5/26 also seem to get a lot of press. As for '79, I just looked for shows with "china rider passenger franklin" and came up with 10/28 & 11/5 - so I'd start there ;-).

Thanks -

Checking out 10/28/79 right now - NICE. . .

ALSO, I just don't like the ratings that much, just because everybody seems to think that EVERY show is the BEST EVER!!!!! (I'm guilty of that myself)

So I wanted to just quick put something out to see what the freaks who are posting every day and really know what's up - what you guys think.

I love this band.

You can't go wrong with Nassau 1-10-79. If you don't think it's a 5-star show, i'll eat my hat (metaphorically speaking). Great rocking show with a killer funky Shakedown, not to mention a DarkStar. Can't go wrong. *--whoops...just re-read your post and realize you're looking for Brent '79's. This aint one of 'em; still K&Donna...but I stand by the rating...check out the show; you won't be disappointed. GC

You know the 4-02-73 show in Boston has a Here Comes Sunshine-Jam-Me & Bobby McGee, also Eyes of the World that will not only help you study but might even get you A's. About as a perfect version of the Sunshine as can be had....

Also the Cape Cod shows 10-27/28-79 are great.
And Stanley Theatre 12-01-79 is good too

Agreed. Try studying to that MNS and your brain will just explode all over the textbook. ...not to mention Garcia's jam in MIRACLE. He just turns that thing upside out and inside down, to coin a phrase ;-)
